Dr. Elisha Attai

Service to humankind. Gender Parity. An informed people. Equality of mankind.

These words begin to describe Dr. Elisha Attai and the lenses through which he sees the world.

Dr. Elisha Attai is a media, communications and public relations practitioner, author and publisher.

A strong advocate for the development and advancement of the African woman, he is the President/Founder of the African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) and the initiator/organiser of the famed African Women in Leadership Conference (AWLC), a global movement of Women of African descent changing the narratives of leadership in the world.

Elisha holds Master degrees in Public Administration and Music Technology with several years’ experience in public relations, music management, brand and business development /consultancy. He is the Managing Director/CEO of Studio 115 Integrated Services, a communication, media/Public Relation and brand development consultancy services company, producing premium content for Mnet (Africa Magic) for years. Elisha Attai is the Executive Director of HDF Projects International, a leadership and human capacity development consultancy services company. Elisha’s proven track record in transforming brands for success has shown in the phenomenal growth and relevance of the African Women Leadership Conference over the last ten years. Dr. Elisha Attai is a global board member, and Chairman Nigeria, International Hospitality Institute (IHI), USA.

An indigene of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, he is passionate about the development and advancement of his state and generously contributes his quota by applying his vast knowledge and experience in promoting the positive image of his state at home and abroad.

Elisha has a strong Christian ethic and immerses himself with many faith-based activities. He is also involved with several charitable organisations and is an active supporter and friend of LittleBigSouls, a charity for the care of premature babies born in Africa and Board member of African Foundation for Premature Babies & Neonatal Care (AFPNC). Advisory Board member of African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI), Global board member and Chairman, Nigeria of International Hospitality Institute (IHI). He has professional associations with a number of organisations such as the Nigeria British Chamber of Commerce, Pan African American Chamber of Commerce in Atlanta, International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), and the South African Culture and Tourism Bureau, Sheroes Global Ambassador just to mention a few.

Elisha's philosophy of life is one that sees the world as big enough for everyone and a life dedicated to giving through service and handwork. It is evident in his personal motto - #ILiveSoICanGive - and his adoption of the SDG Goals; 5-Gender Equality, 8-Decent Work and Economic Growth, 10-Reduced Inequalities among countries, 16-Peace, Justice and strong institutions and 17-Global Partnership for sustainable development.

He is a recipient of numerous awards globally. He was recently honoured by the Global Oved Dei Seminary & University in the United States with a Honorary Doctorate Degree for his commitment to gender-parity. The United Nations Women National Committee Canada honoured him as their Ambassador for his contribution to gender equality and women empowerment over the years.

Dr. Elisha Attai is a honarary citizen of the State of Georgia, USA, an ardent sports fan and loves football. He lives in Lagos with his beautiful wife Eno and four lovely children.

She was the first German woman to win an international Speaker Grand Slam in USA in 2016, hosted by Secret Knock founder Greg S. Reid. At the same time, she was awarded the Family/Olympia Award, Literature category, by Dr. Antonio Gellini.

An important milestone in Astrid Arens' life was the presentation of the Eden Achievement Award for her social commitment, which she received in December 2017 at the Beverley Hills Hotel in Beverley Hills, LA. She was the first European and first German female winner to be honored with this award in December 2017.

In the audience were international personalities such as Hollywood great Tony Tarantino (director, producer and father of Quentin Tarantino), rock great Chris Pitman (Guns N‘ Roses), Stephen Rivkin (editor, Brit Film Awardwinner & 3-time Oscar nominee for Avatar & Pirates of the Caribbean) and Hollywood actress & award winner Dina Morrone. Also receiving the award: Carlo Ponti jr. (Conductor of the San Bernardino Orchestra), Keith Mitchell (NFL Football Star), Bruno Serato (Entrepreneur - Philanthropist - CNN Hero).

In February 2018, a dream came true for her. She visited Elton John at his legendary Elton John Oscar viewing party and met Roland Emmerich, Heidi Klum, George Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger, Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth,Tom Payne and many more. Elton John said to her, "Americans will love your charm and passion."

One of the most important milestones in her life was the coverage in Forbes Magazine, December 2018/January 2019, where the magazine focuses on achievements in neurocommunication and neuromarketing. Astrid Arens is thus the first German female speaker ever to appear in Forbes Magazine with a multi-page article.

Astrid Arens is a philanthropist who not only talks but also acts. Together with Regino Hawich, she founded the Voice Aid Association e. V. in 2019, which she represents as president. It is her absolute heart project which she brings forward with much love and passion.

The Voice Aid Association is a worldwide association of people who, based on the United Nations Charter (SDGs), are enthusiastically working with their music and their ambassadors & friends for more humanity, environmental protection and the protection of our planet.

Furthermore, Astrid Arens is a music producer and successfully launched the songs "We Are One", "Children of the World" and "Voice Aid and Friends - Save the Planet" in 2020 and 2021. The first two songs are the anthems of Voice Aid.

In 2022, a digital platform D.I.P.E.S.H. was founded by her. The name DIPESH is borrowed from the dispatch (in German: Depesche), an important telegram that goes around the world. Pronounced it is called: digital international platform for environment, sustainability and humanity.

The platform contains an international knowledge database. This deals exclusively with the topic of sustainability in practice. There you will find everything about the environment, climate, marine pollution, plastic, recycling, sustainable travel and much more. Furthermore, there is an entrepreneur portal and worldwide social and environmentally active projects are promoted. As a book author, she likes to make a mark and gets a lot of attention for her ideas and tips. Her latest work which was published in 2022 is the book „Secret of Voice – Lifecode Communication“.

In 2023, her latest work will be published: "Living healthier without plastic". A guidebook for all private households and schools with practical tips on how to deal with plastic.

Dr. Kadijatu Grace Ahene

Dr. Kadijatu Grace Ahene is an experienced counselor, facilitator, keynote speaker, and mental health professional with more than a decade of experience in mental health, social services and humanities.

As a seasoned psychologist Dr. Ahene is the founder of Psychology of Winning, an initiative aimed at transforming the minds of women and youth to make informed and responsible life choices coupled with disciplined yet transformative actions. Through this initiative, Dr. Ahene has supported hundreds of young people – equipping them with meaningful tools and strategies to make appropriate choices and positive decisions in a variety of different situations that they face.

Kadijatu has a niche for engaging in spaces for women and youth leadership development and social change in her home country, Sierra Leone and the United States. Drawing on her vision and love for Sierra Leone and passion for promoting the next generation of youth leaders, she’s determined to reach one mind at a time, work with the required institutions to implement her vision, and continue to further advance young people's leadership and economic empowerment and progression.

Recently, in her home country, Sierra Leone, she collaborated with a notable national bank on a flagship project in which she conducted school tours across the country - engaging students with motivational messages that resonate with their inner desires to be the change that they want to see in the world.

Kadijatu is a published author of Broken Chains & Saved by Grace in 2018 issue of the Journal of Self-Empowerment, SheRose Understanding the Psychology of Winning in 2022 and The Dangers of Procrastination in 2023 a recipient of the Golden Wheels Award.

Kadijatu is the founder of several other youth-focused development initiatives. They include the Yaweis Institute in Southern Sierra Leone established as a skills training program for young women and girls; She Arose Motivational Platform, A strong believer in environmental sustainability, Kadijatu is a founder member of the Center for Innovation and Sustainability (CIS), a U.S and Sierra Leonean-based collective that strives to build communities of resilience for sustainable lifestyle by leveraging the power of community-based participatory approaches for a climate resilient future in emerging economies.

Why am I in LSU?
I have been an active member of the LSU Pankow since March 2018. There I have made the experience that politics does not have to be just boring. At interesting events, on excursions and through sports, I got to know completely different people who have something in common: the commitment to equal rights and against discrimination against queer people. With this positive energy, I would like to sharpen our civic, conservative profile as chairman of LSU Berlin. The LSU should become even more visible within the CDU and to the outside world. Because LGBTIQ is not just left-leaning.

Whether in the family, at school, in leisure time or at work - prejudices against same-sex lifestyles are decreasing. Nevertheless, people with a different sexual orientation or identity are still excluded and disadvantaged. Since its founding in 1998, the LSU has been committed to full equality for LGBTIQ* in the CDU, as well as in society. There is absolutely no contradiction in loving same-sex and living Christian conservative values at the same time. These values form the basis of our actions. Through trusting, open and binding cooperation, LSU Berlin has succeeded in becoming a reliable contact for associations, political office holders and functionaries as well as organizations of the lesbian-gay community. At regular events, we want to exchange ideas with each other and further our political work.
